There is a story in the Bible where Mary is sitting at a table like this one I'm sitting at with a bunch of men and she is pouring expensive perfume on the feet of Jesus.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are so many things wrong with this story.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A women sitting with men, how dare she.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A woman pouring perfume worth nearly a years wages⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
out on someones feet, what a waste.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But Jesus says to those who criticize her “leave her alone."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Say What??⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So much inspiration for women from this little dinner party.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-We, as women, are invited to the paarr-tay, crazy I know.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-We, as women, have permission to prosper, not that we need anyone's permission, but in case you thought you needed permission from God here it is. Mary had to have a very lucrative business to be able to afford such an expensive perfume.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-We are free enjoy our prosperity on whatever our soul is telling us.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Mary listened to her heart and did what her soul told her. She was incredibly brave and didn’t allow what others to stop her from doing her souls purpose. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let's be real, Mary was a badass who did what she wanted even when others judged and criticized her.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What would you do if you followed your soul? What would you do if you didn’t care about what anyone thought or said to you?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What would it be like if you were as prosperous and extravagant as Mary?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Mary lived free, she did what she wanted to do and she did it with joy. She was immune to the thoughts and criticisms of others. Every time we see her, someone is criticizing something she is doing, but she kept on doing her own thing anyway.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What do you want to do in your life but fear holds you back? What would you do if fear didn’t ever hold you back? ⁣
