I was thinking today about how my life has changed

I was thinking today about how my life has changed in the past 10 years. I’ve gone from crying every day to really enjoying each day.

I work to fill my life with things I love such as working with beautiful women, hiking, traveling, spending time with family, and having plenty of open space.

I use the word work because it is my life work to create meaning, purpose and joy, just like it is yours. Having a life of meaning and purpose doesn’t just happen we create it.

I’ve worked with women for over 30 years and one of the things I know is that we struggle with purpose.

I have women say to me Laney, “my marriage is lonely, my kids are growing up and don’t need me, I don’t love my career anymore…is this it? What now?”

We can feel guilty for wanting more…more purpose, more meaning, more money, more adventure, more ___ in our lives…I mean shouldn’t we just be content with what we have?

We often can’t get over the conflicting feelings that we feel both longing for more and guilty for longing. This inner conflict creates anxiety and depression robbing us of joy.

I want you to know this longing isn’t a life sentence! You can create a life you love starting today!

Hey there, it's been a while so here's little intro. I'm Laney Beeson Houser, Financial Therapist, Money Mindset Mentor & Life Coach. I help women create money with grace & ease.

A few years ago I was working with women who had emotional eating issues and realized that most of them also struggled with money, so I set out to better understand my own money struggles.

Little did I know that the process of working on my own money story would heal my life. Money is one relationship that touches everything and when we heal it we heal the other areas of our lives too.

When I let go of some of my preconceived ideas about money (challenging at times because many of them I learned in family & church) I experienced a deeper awareness, compassion and love for myself, not something I expected from working on money.

I learned that money is spiritual and I experienced a deeper connection with God when I let go of the money struggle. Money is actually a beautiful thing that can lead us to greater love, freedom and peace.

We can create as much money as we want to, it is not a limited resource. It turns out money is only limited by how we think about it and when we change it we become unlimited.

I’m on a mission to help women create more money with ease, flow and peace in their businesses and lives so they can leave a positive financial legacy for generations to come. I want women to experience money as the beautiful and wonderful thing it is.
